The Convenience of the City. The Beauty of the Country!

In the beginning was the beauty of the land and the splendor of the river.... from this a new town was born. Maumelle, Arkansas. So close to the Natural State's capital city Little Rock, just across the Arkansas River. Yet so private, peaceful, serene. With parks, bike paths, walking trails, lakes, playgrounds, country clubs, two golf courses, a community center and diverse shopping and dining so easily accessible, Maumelle truly has it all for new businesses and families to grow.
Our commercial centers and flourishing industrial park are intelligently planned, beautifully landscaped and served by four-lane boulevards, underground utilities and fiber-optic telecommunication services. Many other features are also in place to provide executives, company associates and residents a higher quality of life in their workplace and family lifestyle.
The City of Maumelle is a 5,000 acre development in the heart of Arkansas. The community includes lively residential neighborhoods, attractive commercial  areas, and one of the South's finest and most attractive industrial parks. Maumelle is located on the north bank of the Arkansas River adjacent to metropolitan Little Rock, Arkansas' capital city.
Maumelle is a community designed for people to live in, work in, and play in harmony and in balance. Its master plan was carefully conceived and is being carried out with meticulous attention to detail. The city is designed to accommodate an eventual population of 25,000 who can enjoy neighborhood living as a part of a total environment which includes job opportunities.
Today, Maumelle is an incorporated city with a population exceeding 10,000. Maumelle is a self-contained lifestyle community with all the advantages -- yet none of the drawbacks -- of urban living. There are schools, churches, shopping facilities, medical facilities, police and fire protection, and a variety of community facilities for residents to enjoy. Yet, the scenic beauty of woodlands and streams has been preserved. Both residents and businesses delight in the countryside atmosphere.
